Searching for parents of William H G SMY 1903-1929 Suffolk

Hi all,

Has anyone come across William H SMY born 1903 in Suffolk?

He married Ethel BARKER on 16 Feb 1929 in Birmingham, Warwickshire and died 18 Dec 1977 in Barstaple, Devon.

I have found a registration for a William Henry G SMYE in Oct-Nov-Dec 1903 in Plomesgate (Volume 4a, Page 1084) and presume this is him.

I was hoping to find more info before forking out for a copy of the birth certificate as funds are somewhat limited to say the least!

I have traced 4 of his offspring (Jean, Donald, Brenda and Frances) and I have pretty comprehensive information about the ancestors of Ethel BARKER - see the Williams Family Tree web site at w-f-t.co.uk.

So, if there are any SMYs out there who would like to get in touch please do so.
