I have recently updated my East Tennessee Footsteps website to post information on 6 of the 7 children of Julius Hacker Sr, a German immigrant who ultimately settled in what would become Tennessee in the 1770s. Surnames include Hacker, Haggerty, Brown, SNEED, Register, Perciful. Other names on the site: Mayton, Delaney, Alexander. I will be posting information on the Peters connection soon.
Julius Hacker Sr. purchased land in Knox in 1798 that became part of Roane County, TN. Part of my family still lives there today. If you are interested in collaborating or just commenting, please contact me.
