I have a Jacob Snider born between 1766 and 1784 in Lancaster Co., PA. He was married, but do not know his wifes name. They had at least four children, possibly more: Elizabeth, b. 19JUL1804 Lancaster Co.,PA, d. 19JAN1858 Iroquois Co.,IL, mar. 9JAN1825 Stark Co., OH - Jacob Jr., b. 1811 Lancaster Co., PA, d. 1880 Peoria, IL, mar. 11SEP1834 Dianah Findley and 2nd to Lucy - Mary "Polly", b. 1JAN1814 Lancaster Co., PA, d. 21FEB1870 Iroquois Co.,IL, mar. 13NOV1834 Jacob Rhoades - John, b. 1817 Lancaster Co., PA, d. 3FEB1863 Iroquois co., IL, mar. 1) Margaret 2) 3AUG1853 Pharaba Dodd 3) Rachel.
I also have john Snider born 15SEP1813 Lancaster PA, d. 23SEP1879 Iroquois Co., IL, mar. 20AUG1840 Champaign Co., OH to Maria M. Comegys and they had six children: Sarah E. b. 1841 OH - George W. b. 1850 Warren Co., IN - Charles Newton, b. 1851 Warren Co., IN - Melissa Jane b. 1853 Warren Co.,IN - Martha Emily b. 1857 Warren Co., IN - Lincoln William bl 1862 Iroquois Co.,IL
I have not been able to connect my two Snider families. Since yours came from Lancaster Co., PA to Ohio and then Indiana, I tought there might be a chance for a connection.
