I am trying to locate records on my GGgrandmother Phebie/Phebia Snider, Simmons suppose to be from Butler Co Mo .She was suppose to have adopted my GGgrandmother Rose Addie/ Addie Rose off of a Native American family in either Butler or Texas Co Mo.
I have my GGgrandmothers death certificate and it said she was born in Butler Co Mo. But I can not get a Birth certificate.So it could have been put on there that Phebie/Phebie was her mother but she may not have been and there is no father listed either.
Rose was born 09/09/1881. I also have a paper from a cousin saying Rose name was Annie Rosetta Warren, She was married to a Louis Warren also.The person that wrote this statement said Rose was full blooded Cherokee and she was adopted by a Simmons family. I would like to get all the help I can trying to locate who my Ggrandmother's parents where. Thank you kamiah2005@yahoo.com Happy Holidays
