I have been in touch with Bill, today as a matter of fact, and yes, he and I are related. Were you not able to find a link to his family line? He has the same info I do except our respective ggrandfather descendants. We have recently been comparing notes with each other. The Snouffer we come from did settle in PA before moving to Maryland. My history has a Johannes Thomas Schnauffer born November 13, 1752 in Berk's County, PA. In my family line, he was the first Snouffer born here in the states. His father was Johann "Hans" Michael Schnuffer and his mother was Magdalena Wendel. Is there any connection? I do not have any info on when they arrived or the name of the ship.

Let me know who your grandfather is and we can see if I have him in my file.

Email me direct at ""

Thanks, Gervaise
