Still no positive match but a possible clue. I have an "Alva A. Snouffer" born in 1847 to Caroline E. (Miller) and Michael Snouffer. I have no other info and listed Alva as a female. Either an assumption of the name or the default for unmarried individuals in my program. Also, based on whoever did the original research, a scripted E can resemble an A and the wrong middle initial could have been recorded. Another good sign is I have another Snouffer male marrying a RANNENBERGER female, which was common for families to blend like taht back then. Any way you can confirm or discount positively Alva's parents? If it's them, we have a link!
