Betty

Thank you for the reply. Did not mean to ignore you for so long, but have no information yet. Am trying to contact some family members who may know something. All I know at this point is that my Great grandfather was called Josh and his wife Roxy Rachael or Rach(a)el Roxy and they lived in Indiana or Michigan area. I understand either one or both were from quite a large family so we may have some connection there. My Mother said my Great Grandfather had a Dutch bible so she assumed he was Dutch. Some of my research shows the Pennsylvania Dutch were actually German and Snyder seems to be a German name. Will let you know if and when I can find out anything else. At the moment I'm at a complete standstill with them and trying to be patient.

Michigan area. I understand one or both were from quite a large family.
