My mother was Bonita Mae Gardner born in Bement ILL on July 13, 1911.
My grandfather was George Washington Gardner he was born Sept. 23, 1875 in DeWitt ILL. he died June 2, 1962...he is buried at the Bement Cemetery in Bement ILL. His Father was George B. Gardner..know his birth place was Ohio and he was born in 1848 but don't know his death date or place....his wife was Sarah don't know any more on her.
My grandmother was Addie Synder she died in 1934 or breast cancer in Bement ILL and is buried there. all I know is she was born in N.C. and that's all I know on her.
George W. Gardner and Addie Synder Gardner had the following children.
Thomas,
Opal (she married Osso Laws)
Bonita (my mother)
Charles
Robert
Marion (this is a boy)
Ralph.
In 1930 the age of the children was
Thomas...25
Opal ........21
Bonita......18
Charles...15
Robert.....13
Marion.....10
Ralph.......7
All the children was born in Bement ILL.
