I have an original carte de visite photograph of “D. E. Snyder – (taken in) 1865 - Indianapolis”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in Indianapolis, and he looks to be about 35 to 40.
I found David E. Snyder in the 1870 census for Indianapolis, age 45, indicating he was born in PA, and he was a Life Ins./Fire Ins. agent. Wife in 1870 was Emily, age 35. By 1880 census, he was a “Money Broker” by occupation.
