George Redfoot, son of George and Rickheaney Redfoot, was born in Ryersbroom, Germany, Aug. 20th, 1834. He came to America in 1855 and located at Town Line, Erie Co.,NY. In 1867 he came to Bennington, Wyoming Co.,NY, where he owns a farm of fifty acres. At the time of his arrival in this country he has but $1 in money. Dec. 28th, 1856, he married LANEY SNYDER, daughter of Philip and Kate Snyder, of Erie Co.,NY, and formerly of Germany.
