My mother-in-law, Patricia Jean Snyder (15 Apr 1939 - 24 Jan 2009) was the daughter of Clarence Frederick Snyder (18 Jan 1907 - Oct 1968) and Josephine Signs (18 Jul 1907 - Jan 1980) married abt 1927. Patricia was an only child.
Clarence was the son of Frank W. Snyder (18 Jul 1863 - 23 Aug 1919) and Delila Krieger (3 Jul 1877) married 22 Jan 1900. Clarence had a brother, Harry L Snyder (abt 1902 - ?). After Delila died, Frank married Anna Mack on 8 Jul 1888 and had a son, Ralph E. Snyder (Aug 1893 - ?).
Frank was the son of Simon H. Snyder (Nov 1832 - 11 Mar 1911) and Rachel Biddle (18 Dec 1837 - 3 Jun 1907) married 3 Apr 1856. Simon and Rachel had seven other children: Savilla (abt 1858), Eraminda (abt 1859), Elsie Jane (abt 30 May 1861) who married James Rex, Ella Jane (abt 1861), Nancy Ellen (4 Jan 1866 - 1 Apr 1936) who married Daniel H. Sager 15 Mar 1885, Mary Ada (30 Aug 1868 - 21 Aug 1938) who married Samuel Berkebite, and Rollo Stanton (2 Nov 1875 - 20 Aug 1933) who married Nell B. Schaffer (1885 - ?) on 14 Dec 1901.
Simon was born in Uniontown, PA according to the death record of his daughter, Elsie Jane Snyder Rex. Simon and Rachel settled in Fulton County, OH. Frank also settled in Fulton County, OH. Clarence moved to Toledo, OH in the 1920's and settled in Monroe, MI.
