Aloha,
Just looking for roots. My greatgrandfather August and his brother Alfred worked in the Soderlund Shipyard in Stockholm. August and his brother Alfred both came to America. My grandfather Victor was born 1875 in Sodravisso Bredaryn Jonkopinglen and followed in 1896. My grandmother Emma Ogren was born 1881 Holmen, Franderfors and came to America in 1892.
I have visited the Ogren family farm at Durnas near Vanersborg and would highly recommend a visit to Sweden to visit our relatives.
I was the first to return in 95 years and we had a wonderful visit with my relatives. We communicate via internet. Last year we had a visit from two of our relatives here in Hawaii.
