ERIC,
Sorry to have taken a couple of days to answer your posting but have been out of town.
I started this family thing (Saderlund) to insure my g=kids would know their roots and in doing so have uncovered all sorts of leads to various family names. My start was in two family bibles, one my grandma and the other an aunt. Both had considerable info on the family to include birth dates, deaths and marriages. I then checked the Morman website (FamilySearch.com) and went thru their records. Also downloaded free software to record family statistics and info. Would suggest the same as well as posting a forum website as did I. I have no info on my grandfathers two brothers except as was listed in the Forum msg except the Southerlund/Sutherlund may in actuality be Sutherlin as there were references in the aunts bible to that name as a relative. I would be glad to communicate with you and share info so as to determine if your Soderlund branch might be my grandpas brother. As such my email is: adobeflatstoo@earthlink.net andmy phone # is 707-263-4999. As of this posting I have not checked the website for any additional msgs but had to respond to yours. Oh by the way us swedes run in tight circles as my son is also named ERIC as is his son!! Hope to hear from you soon.---DON
