Dear Eric:

My great grandfather was Eric Soderlund. His mother's name was Sigrid. His wife's name was Margaret, b 1844. Eric and Margaret's children were: Anna Bertha, b. 1869, (My Grandmother); Rachel; Emma, b 1878 and William. Eric and his mother died near Sheyenne, ND before 1900, I'm told. His wife died at Melita or Broomhill, Manitoba Jan. 29, 1913. I estimate that this family came to America between 1889 and 1892. A son of Emma said it was 1892 and that they came from Bergsgo or Bergsjo located about seven miles from Stockholm. He further said that his oldest sister died on the road to Broomhill, Manitoba in the covered wagon.

I don't know if there is any connection with your family.
