Hello Nancy,
Emma was married to William (Wilhelm)Solenthaler who was Christian's brother. He & Emma were married Jan 1886 & he was killed in a coal mine explosion Feb 1886 in North Industry, Ohio, they had no children) Then Emma & Christ were married in 1890. They had 8 children, the oldest son was named Christian but they called him Christie (married Elva Stacey). Then Anna (married Albert Mallonn) William (married Elva's sister Anna Hazel Stacey) he died just 3 years after their marriage. Elizabeth (married Calvin Withers) Emma (married Walter Schroyer) Harry (married Catherine Van Meter~these are my grandparents)Helen Marie~we called her Aunt Marie(married George Penrod) Edith Ruth (married Clifford Price) my mom was named after Aunt Edith ~she was born on her birthday. Wilhelm was buried in Melscheimer's Cemetery in East Sparta(this is new info in the past year or so). But still haven't found the Solenthaler actual place of birth!! Thanks for your info! Darlene
