We know he was bn in Austria but not sure exactly where. One story says it is actually from Solingen, Germany. Mathias md Magdelina Clauber sometime before 1847, no documentation. They had 11 children: Mathias bn 1847, Austria George bn 19 Jan 1851 Germany deaf Franz bn 1853, Germany Anna bn31 Jan 1857, Germany John bn 1860, ?? Peter bn 15 Jan 1861, St. Joseph, Minnesota Elizabeth bn 5 Feb 1863, Avon, Minnesota Johan Paul bn 15 Mar 1865, Stearns County,MN Margaretta bn 1868, Magdelina bn 1869 Mary Margaret bn ??June 1872 I could use some help in locating relatives.
