Yes, the two Vessier sisters' mother, Marie Rose Bourg, was my ancestor; she was first married to Pierre Aman Cire, by whom she had one son, Pierre Aman Cire, my ancestor. Her husband was a prosperous trader who plied his merchandise between Las Arcas (Arkansas) and New Orleans. Then she married Mr. Vessier.

I have often wondered if the two Sompayrac men weren't brothers. My theory is that their surname should be St. Paul de Sompayrac, assuming Sompayrac is a place name somewhere in France. Jacques Augustin Ste. Sompayrac and Francois Henri St. Paul Sompayrac were the two grooms whose mothers' names are surprisingly similar--Marie LeRoy and Marie LeRose; however their fathers have different prénoms
As there is a St. Paul family in New Orleans, my theory is those are the relatives of Jacques Augustin and François Henri and not the Sompayracs in Natchitoches.
