Some of our Sontag names are the same as yours. Even though the locations and years aren't the same, I'll pass some of the info on to you since first names tended to be passed on and on through the generations. Our Philip Sontag was born in 1830 in Mettendorf, Prussia (near Luxembourg) and came to Buffalo New York in the mid to late 1850's. His sons were named Frank, Henry, and Matthias. Either Frank or his children ended up in Pennsylvania. What do you think?
Mary
