Dale,

Jacob Starns (b. April 3, 1755) married Catherine Elizabeth South (b. abt 1753). Catherine was the dau of John South and Margaret Drake.
Jacob was the son of Frederick Starns and Mary Caroline Carlock.

From what I have Jacob and Elizabeth had 8 children (Mary Ann, William S, Isaac, James Purnell, Delilah M, Frederick Sherill, John D, Samuel S).
Jacob & Elizabeth both died in St. Helena Parish, LA.

I have some information on the grandchildren of Jacob and Elizabeth. Is there something more specific you are seeking?
Are you a descendant of Elizabeth South? Her brother Samuel Drake South was my gggg-grandfather.
