Kisey Elizabeth (South) Michael - NC/TN
Posted by: Brenda S. Taylor Date: April 06, 1999 at 18:25:03
  of 1529

I am looking for the parents of my Maternal 2GGrandmother, Kisey Elizabeth South. I was told by a cousin, that her father's name was Hamby South and her mother's name was Mary ____?. I cannot find anything except for a Will of Enoch South that mentions a son, Steven, who is married to a "Mary". Could, Hamby possibly be a nickname for Steven? The reason that I think this is his father, is because my 2GGrandmother's husband, Rev. William Hampton Michael, is a witness to the Will of Enoch South. Kisey Elizabeth South and Rev. William Hampton Michael were married in Johnson County, Tennessee on 19 Oct 1884. Rev. William Hampton Michael is the son of Martin Van Buren Michael and Elizabeth Victoria Greer. My GGrandmother, Lillian "Lillie" Lauretta Michael married Rev. James Roscoe Trivette. Their daughter, Virginia Elizabeth Trivette married my grandfather, Odell Forrester on 5 Dec 1925. Any information will be greatly appreciated!
