Info needed on fathers birth parents

I'm searching for info on the birth parents of JACK LELAND SOUTH - probably born in Decatur, Alabama -- 11/11/1925(?). He was married to EDNA MARY CRUTHERS in Washington, DC in 1948. They had 4 children together -- JACK JR., MICHAEL ALLEN, STEPHEN MATTHEW and PATRICIA ANN. He was a former airforce sgt. Info needed by son to obtain a copy of his birth certificate to then obtain passport to travel overseas for medical proceedure. Any help greatly appreciated. Please email me at c4evap@optonline.net
