Thank you, David, for info on John Drake and Margaret Weldon.

I have publications that say the same things about John Drake and Margaret Weldon. There is real suspicion in the Drake Family Camp as to the accuracy of the information.

I assume you take some of your information from Leeper-Drake, Kith and Kin by Nell McNish Gambill.

Do you know where the claim that Margaret Weldon mother and father were Samuel Weldon and Sarah Efford. I know these two were married as it is posted in York County, Virginia archives, but I've never seen proof of the connection.
