Re: Carl Adamson aka William Homer South. The title of the book is Kennard, King, McCubbin, Knight and Their Kin, by Alta K. Patterson, BookCrafters 140 Buchanan St., Chelsea, Michigan 48118, 1988. Page 231 she states that Carl Adamson Changed name from Wm. Homer South. There is no mention of her documentation. This author has probably passed on, but she did a lot of research on her family connections and did interviews with many people.
