Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I have a book called Genealogy of the Dodson(Dotson), Lucas, Pyles, Rochester and Allied Families by S. Emmett Lucas, Jr. which dabbles in the South family, although not very deeply. Will be happy to look up something for you if it's in there. The book is exceedingly difficult to find these days...I got mine from Lucas when he was still alive.
