Please know that the Mayflower Society has recently recognized the descendants of William South as descendants of the Edward Fuller family. My ancestor was Sarah South, eldest child of William and Hannah South and a sister to your ancestor William. She married Peregrine Garland in 1800 and died 6 years later. Upon turning 21 their only child James F. Garland sued his grandmother, uncles and aunt for the inheritance from William Sr which should have come to him through his mother. After several years the Court of Common Plea of Clermont County OH agreed and awarded James F. the princely sum of $150.96 in 1826 which represented 1/6 of William Sr's estate. I would be glad to share with you the written opinion of the court. It establishes the relationship of all six children to William and Hannah as well as to each other.
