I'm sorry take the 5 off and you have the date 2(?) June 1699. Thomas Dyas and Michall his wife appoint....
Apparently you have all the same information on Thomas Dyas that I have. If you look at my original George SOUTH'S (1660-170a VA)... entry you'll see I was aware of a couple of other Thomas DIAS or DYAS or DICUS etc; that were around the area. I've been aware of the Maryland families but I've never been able to connect any of them to the Virginia Thomas.
Unless we can find additional data such as a will or etc; on Thomas Dyas we cannot prove the relationships. It doesn't make sense he didn't leave a will or something. I also can't find anything else on his wife Michall.
I place Thomas Dyas' age as being born about 1620 which makes him about 50 when he gifted to Isabella & George South in 1669/1670 which I believe was their marriage date. This is pretty strong evidence that Isabella could be Thomas' daughter, but I really would like to see more for any other family members. Where do you get William as a son????
I have to leave for work; therefore, I have to communicate later. Thank you so much for your interest in this puzzling situation that I've worked on for years to no avail.
