The info I have regarding this family:
Gabriel South b. abt 1784 Snake Spring, Valley, Bedford Co, PA married Catherine Evah Brake. Garbiel may have been the son of Benjamin South 1747 Prince Georges Co.
Gabriel and Catherine children:
John South Feb 07, 1815
William South 1819
Gabriel South Aft. 1820
James W South Aft. 1820
Jane South Aft. 1820
Mary Nancy South Aft. 1820
Susan South Aft. 1820
Lucy Ann South May 12, 1822
Samuel Knox South May 19, 1825
Franklin South Mar 17, 1827
I believe all the children were born in Bedford Co, PA
William South married Jane Dennis Oct 26, 1843 Athens Co, OH and had 8 children.
