In addition to the four girls listed on the Frankfort Cemetary site, George Shaw and Eliza South had 2 boys:
George C. Shaw, Jr. and Hardin B. Shaw.
I am married to one of Margaret Shaw's 3 grandsons, John Hardin Gray, who is named, in part, for his great uncle Hardin or "Unc." Margaret Shaw (Peg) - the youngest daughter of George C. Shaw and Eliza South, married Roy C. Gray and had one son, Roy C. Gray, Jr., my father-in-law, who is now in his 80s.
Our daughter, Eliza South Gray, is named for her great-great grandmother Eliza South Shaw.
The Shaw family residence was on Steele Street in Frankfort, Kentucky but was torn down many years ago to make way for a parking lot. It is still warmly remembered by the few people in the family old enough to have spent time there.
