Christine South Gee in her book "Genealogical Notes on the South Family" at page 26 states that Thomas South's will was proved September 26, 1757 in Middlesex Co., NJ. His will mentions his wife Dorothy and two sons Joseph and Daniel (see NJ Colonial Documents, Vol.III at page 304). CSG speculates there may have been another son named Thomas South, Jr. (born 1704) and Edward South (born 1718).
