I don't know if there is any connection but it's possible. My great-great grandparents were Sterling and Lucretia South. Just found out they were married in Marshall County TN but haven't had much luck beyond that in locating them. They had 4 children that I know of George, Luther, Bud and my great grandmother Henrietta. I noticed some of the names are the same as are in my family. I do know that Sterling and Lucretia lived in Giles County, George lived in Nashville and Luther moved to Texas. My great-grandmother Henrietta stayed in Giles County TN. I also have a picture of the family with (post card type) that has the photographer as Hubbs out of Arkansas.
