I have e-mailed you before about this possible connection. David Monroe South. I have information that his father was Sterling South and his mother was Lucinda Corhin. Recently I found David's obituary in the local library (Italy, TX). It lists David's surviving siblings as G. W. South of Nashville, TN and Etta Pierce of Pulaski, TN (as we know this is Giles Co.). There are George Washington Souths in Tennessee. Etta -- Henrietta. Additionally, David was married to Zelia Deana Whitley, sister to Sue Ellen Brown Whitley who was married to Luther Milton South, who I believe is another brother. One of Luther and Sue's kids is Rowena South. I have David's family Bible and in it is a tiny picture of a young woman -- on the back is written Rowena South. Of course, much of this is speculation, but there is a really good chance David is part of this family.
