I have an ancestor Thomas South b 1784 (or 1794) in Middlesex. He married Maria Ansell (b 8 March 1795 in Stepney, St George in the East) on 24 February 1824 in St Mary Whitechapel. They had 5 Children. Sarah Martha b 1824 in Limehouse, Jane b 27 Sept 1827, Thomas Samuel b 14 Nov 1820, John Abraham b 16 June 1832 in Whitechapel, and Samuel Norman b 13 Dec 1834 in Limehouse. Maria Ansell died in Middlesex on 9 December 1859, and daughter Jane died when one year old in Limehouse. Thomas and the rest of the children moved to Australia, we think prior to 1860. There is information on the descendants in Australia.
