The Revolutionary Soldier Benjamin South was born in Windsor Township New Jersey on 2 February 1758 and died in Greene CCounty Pa. in 1839. He moved to Pennsylvania in 1794. He had a son Benjamin as did his brother. .Daniel had married the widow Euphemia Smyth Nixon who had a son Thomas born in N.J. in 1768. I am descended from Thomas Nixon and we may be related through his mother. Family names tend to repeat so there are Benjamin Souths in succeeding generations. I have additional informations Military records, wlls etc.
