Don't know if my message got through - so will try again. Your Frank South was Francis Marion South - son of James D. South and his 2nd wife, Amy Ann Bull. He was the younest of all James D's kids. Eva Ann Ruyan's parents are still unknown but Runyan is an old NJ name.

William South who married Hannah Malott was a brother to Daniel South who married Susannah McCoy. They were from NJ and not MD as Clermont Co History states. William a soldier in Rev War -- and he and brother Daniel went to Washington Co, MD (then part of Frederick Co ?) where they married. Another brother was James South per widow's pension request. Thi is NOT the James South who married Jemima Quigley and settled in Tate Twp, Clermont Co, NJ. This James was the son of Benjamin and Keziah ( ) South - his first wife. Bible has no record of a William or Daniel in this family. Perhaps the Benjamin South who was in Washington Co, MD ewas a brother to William and Daniel.

You say Clermont Co has a good web site. How do you long on?
