Pat,I think that you and I have corresponded before. I just recently ordered a fische that should have some info on William H. Camp and his wife Nancy South. I was able to est. that they were married Sept. 10th 1877. Nancy is the first wife of Hastens and they had three surving children.

I use the word "surviving" because I just discovered that there may have been another child who was the first born named John. My Dad never heard any mention of John so I tend to think that he died as an infant or small child. The Ms. Camps didn't know anything about John either.
Hastens second wife was Mary J. Reed whom he married in 1885. Is is not known if there was any children born from that reunion as it only lasted a short time and his third wife was related to his second wife. Hasten was Mary Reed's second husband. Her first husband was murdered and stuffed in a hollow tree.
Hasten's third wife was Rose Scott who was the half sister to Mary Reed. There were two children from that union.

This week was the first time that I could find credible evedence that Nancy South existed. I have been searching through South Family Websites in hopes of turning something up about her parentage. I would appreaciate any info that you might have regarding Nancy. Thanks, Carolyn
