Ron,

Thank you so much for replying! I have a copy of Joseph South's will in hand written script. Major South is obviously listed as his son. However, in his will, Joseph spells one of his other sons as 'Elijea' (If i am reading the script correctly) .. I do not know enough about the script in that day if this could possibly be my Elijah, the revolutionary soldier. Any further help or correspondance would be most welcome. Again, thank you, and I would appreciate any clarification on this matter that you could provide me with. I would be more than happy to share with you any info that I have.
