Your Major (sometimes lised as Magar) South was a brother to my Joseph who married Hannah. Major married 1st to an Elizabeth in NJ. Was in Greene County, PA before 1800 and at the estate sale of his brother-in-law, Jonathan Baremore. 1810 was of Wayne Couny, OH. Possibly married an Elizabeth 'Betsy" Wilford there. He married (3rd ?) Mrs Catherine Crites, widow of Henry Crites 'late of Washington Co, PA'

Were do you fit it? Would like to exchange info.

Don South
