Hello. My ancestor, Phillip Henson, is the subject of the above writing. He is also mentioned in "Spies for the Blue and Gray", Harnett Kane. My question is this, in the book by Harnett Kane it mentions that Phillip Henson filed for a pension with Congress. I cannot find any entry, anywhere for this, and wonder if someone could help me with finding this application, i/e: where to write, where to look, etc. After the civil war he lived in Alcorn Co. MS until about 1900 when he moved to Texas until his death in 1911 and then was transported back to MS for burial. As a second request: Does anyone have access to the George S. Johns book as in the title of this query? If so, would you share with me the information regarding Phillip Henson. I have tried without success to get a copy of this book on library loan. I thank you in advance and appreciate your help. Pauleta Hicks pauleta@cctc.net Notify Administrator about this message?
