I am looking for infomation on this soldier who died in the South Carolina Hospital in Manchester Virgina.In Sept of 1862 he was sent to confederate hospital in Culpepper, Then sent to manchester Dec 17 and died Dec30 1862.Does any one know where these hospitals were? and how would i find records of them(if any still exists?)His body was never returned to family in South carolina.They were notified January 18,1863. We would like to know where we might look for his place of burial , so we can bring this brave soldier home.....
