John Spaeth family aboard Pennsylvania -17 Oct 1908
Posted by: Edmond Spaeth (ID *****6935) Date: August 20, 2003 at 06:48:00
  of 264

The following SPAETH family was aboard the ship PENNSYLVANIA when it arrived in New York (Ellis Island) from Cuxhaven, Hamburg, Germany on 17 October 1908. All family members were US Citizens, but the manifest did not say from what part of United States.

John SPAETH m 46 M baker
Minna SPAETH f 46 M none
Wilhelmina SPAETH f 17 S none

also as passengers on the same manifest page were
William KOCH m 69 baker
Francisca KOCH f 44 none

Possible relations to the above SPAETH family??? It just seemed peculiar that 2 bakers would be listed on same page.

Ellis Island recorder transcribed surname as APAETH for John so be aware of that as a possibility in your searches. Or it may have been just a typographic error.
