I have an Easter Magdoliane 'Maggie' SPAIN born 1871 at Avery Creek, Buncombe Co, NC. Her mother was Rachel McClatchey Spain.

My Maggie was the daughter of James Newton Spain, however, and married to Dallas DUNCAN, 18 August 1895 at Buncombe Co, NC, according her grandniece, Edith Marie Creasman Gasperson.

Are you certain you have correctly identified your Maggie?
