To Join Merritt's Command
John H. BYRNE, son of P.A. BYRNE of this city, a member of Captain Lucey's Sacramento company, has been transferred to one of the brigades that is about to leave San Francisco for Manila, and will be assigned to the SignalCorps, in which branch of the service he has had experience here.
