Yes it could be wrong especially if one is thinking Arizona is were he served and one is only looking in that state. Could be AR was mistakenly for Arizona when it was Arkansas. It could also mean he served in the Army in the SpA War and a stint in the 4th CAC till discharge. Doing further research Google "4th Coastal Artillery Corps"
1930 Arkansas Independence County, Logan Twsp census, I find a Robert L Sliger b. abt 1872 in TN, wife Gertie b. abt 1880 in IL stated "yes SpA" for veteran status. He and Gertie are living in Arkansas from 1910 to 1930 census and stated married 10 yrs in 1910. Can't find him in the 1900 census.

WWI Draft Registration card has nearest relative Gertie Rosetta Sliger (wife)
