You should add as much information that you have so that those of us that have resources to help, can. Add approx year born, died, where, where he might have enlisted and wife's name. When I search the name you posted at Ancestry with searching "all countries" not a record, (1850 to 1930 census, military, birth, marriage or death) comes up so there must be a different spelling for first name and or last. Even just searching last name only looking at censuses and other records, no "Odillion" can be found.
Contact the county where he lived, have local "Memorials" for those have served in the wars.
