Louis Speaker was born in 1855. His parents were Ernest and Christina Speaker, who were from Mechlenburg, Germany. Louis married Katie Miller and the had the following children: Louis M., Jr. b.1879 d. 1940; Ernest b.1880 d. ?;Katie Christina B.1884 d. 1885; Eula (my Grandmother) b. 1887 d. 1957; and William F. b. 1896 d.1927.

Louis was a barber based on census records. Louis Jr. was a railroad employee and I believe he was killed in a train accident.
