SPEAKER Family Photograph

I've "rescued" a old photograph of Gladys SPEAKER b. September 15, 1896. The photograph was taken when she was 6 months of age but doesn't not include a location. Another date appears on the back of the photograph without any explanation, it is January 8, 1899. I'm thinking that this might mean she died on that date, but I can't be certain of that, just a guess. I'm hoping to find someone from her family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family.
