My father Jess W. Speaker, grfather Fred P., ggrfather: James F.P. and ggrmother Ida Mae Sylvis. I have tracked back to Pennsylvania, Berks County where they have a book on the Speicher, Spycker, Speaker, Spiker family written by Paul I. Speicher. I have ordered a copy from Higgins Books off of their website but have not received it yet. My father, Jess Willard and Wilburta became re-acquainted after many years and he found an aunt. There is also a cemetary in that area (besides Seneca/Woods) that has a lot of Speakers buried in it. My parents found it by accident when they stopped for coffee. I will contact you when I receive my book and let you know if it contains anything pertinent. It goes back to Hanover, Germany and some Swiss relatives with some different spellings.
