Lillie Spieker Aufderheide was my grandmother's (Eliza Spieker Sullivan)
sister.Lillie and her husband John lived on Amber (Umber?) St. in
Pittsburgh in 1910(Census ED 449, Sht 5) and on Locust St. in 1900
(Census ED 119 Sht 2).Perhaps Henry (either brother or father of John)
lived nearby, so suggest you visually scan listing for the ED to see if any
other Aufderheide is around.
Also, I traced the Spiecker and Juengling families using data from the LDS
library. This was on microfilm taken of entries in Evangelical church
records in Westphalia and Hannover respectively. With a German pocket
dictionary, one can get familiar with the two dozen words necessary to
interpret the church entries.
I have a cousin about 50 miles north of me, who is the granddaughter of
Lillie and John Aufderheide of Pittsburgh. If you can connect Henry to
John Aufderheide, let me know and I'll ask her if she has anything on
John's parents.
