I would appreciate any information regarding a Wm. Spike who was granted Administration of the Estate of Mrs. Byre Bynam/Binum, the 22 Nov 1800 in Hancock GA. Was he simply appointed by the court or was he a family member?
He continue as administrator until 2 Sept 1816 when he returned receipts in full from William Bynum, Betsy Bynum, John Bynum and Sally Bynum.
A Sale of Byre Bynum's estate was held 4, Feb 1801. At that time Betsy Bynum/Byrum was old enough to make a purchase. Levi Spike also made a purchase. Could anyone enlighten me as to the connection of Wm. Spike to the Binum's
