Can you tell me if you have any more info. related to this family. I believe that my great grandmother Margaret Laycock was a daughter of William Laycock and Sarah Spike.
The info. that I have on Margaret is b.1828 <St. Vincent Township>, d. Sept.10,1884 buried Lakeview Cemetary, Meaford, Grey County, married John Hill Jul.14,1846.
Further references also connect John Hill to Charles H. Watson (approx. 1856 J. Hill traded his land for a small store which had been establised for a year or two, by a Charles H. Watson on the farm of his father-in-law on the 9th line).

Please contact me if there is any connection.

Thank you,

Bev
